About Us
The Tornado ON-OFF Tool has the means of connecting or disconnecting from sucker rod strings at any given point where a tool is placed. (Typically the tool is placed above the pump). Once the On-Off Tool twists apart and detaches, it allows the pulling unit to pull out of the hole with the entire rod string, while leaving the pump down hole. The tubing is then pulled in order to retrieve the pump.
Our Mission
Tornado Supply’s purpose is to provide the best On-Off tool with zero On-Off Tool failures. Tornado is locally owned, the manufacturer of their tool, and made in the U.S.A. Every thread, part, clearance and radius is checked by hand before assembling in house. Quality control and consistent reliable tools are our companies purpose.

Our History
Christian Carpenter Frederick has owned and operated Tornado Supply, Inc. since 2010. Her father, J. Dan Carpenter, founded the company with her in mind. She had been living in Boston, MA for seven years when Dan presented her with the opportunity to move back to West Texas to take over the company. He said: “Here is an opportunity, take it or leave it. I am 75 years old and I’m going fishing!” It was sink or swim; she took advantage of the opportunity and ran with it.
Christian is a third generation oilfield related business owner in West Texas. Dan Carpenter also founded Saber Fishing and Rental Tool Company, Inc. in the 1980s that began with blowout preventers, adding reverse rigs as well as fishing and rental tools. He established small satellite companies for the benefit of his employees partnering with each of his three children. Dan’s father, James William “Buddy” Carpenter, founded Eagle Tool Company and Sun Tool Company in the 1960s and 1970s. Both were oilfield fishing and rental tool companies. Owning and Operating Tornado Supply, Inc. has been hard work, a blessing and a natural fit for Christian. She continues to make Dan proud in Heaven and is certain he is doing lots of fishing.
